The BG-5 Battery Grip from Pentax is compatible with their K-3 DSLR camera. It accepts one lithium-ion rechargeable battery and can also take six AA batteries. The BG-5 provides extended shooting time while affording comfort and control when holding the camera in the vertical position. It features an extra set of controls, including shutter release, AE-Lock, AF, ISO, Green button (for exposure mode), exposure compensation, preview lever and dual electronic dials. Additionally, the grip has the same dustproof, weather-resistant construction as the K-3 body.
